About

I graduated as a translator more than a decade ago and in the meantime have worked as an in-house translator, translation project manager, localisation officer, freelance editor for newspapers and literary magazines.
I started at Imperial College London in 2002 as a lecturer in translation with localisation. The course, MScTrans in short, is at taught postgraduate level. In 2006, I also started at Antwerp University College, where I cover not only localisation to master students, but also British Studies to third year BA and MA students as well as practical translation Dutch<>English to second year BA students.
I still work as a freelance translator, but am much more involved in the topic of Belgian refugees in Britain, my PhD. As this still is a work in progress, I just keep the title like that :-).
